Parking was plentiful and easily accessible. The restaurant had just opened for the day, so I was the only customer at the time. My server Olivia was very pleasant and patient with us. She showed herself friendly available. The food was delicious. Stuffed Banana Peppers and poutine fries for the win.

I went there on a Saturday night, The service was horrible. The security was disrespectful. Had to pay a cover fee and get a wristband (that’s fine) but when we left they wouldn’t let us back in even though we paid and had wristbands on. It was overcrowded. They let underage kids in. The drinks weren’t any good. Would only recommend if you were an 18 year old college student and don’t mind being taken advantage of by an awful establishment. These guys are scums, take your business elsewhere
Went to The Steer with a group from work for a holiday party. The staff was super accommodating and got us right in. They have an awesome dining area with a fireplace and plenty of space to spread out. Appetizers and drinks came out super quick and our waiter was on top of everything. Food and service were both excellent. Highly recommend!
Very excellent service! The staff was all very welcoming. Brooklyn our waitress, was super sweet and very knowledgable.
They have a wide selection of food. The old menu item the Elvis was delicious. Who knew bananas, peanut butter, honey, bacon, cheese and a burger would all go together so well!
The atmosphere was great and full of old touches of Buffalo history hanging up as decor.
Great place to dine, host events it appears to as well. Will be back again soon!
We come each year back for a Bills game (9 yrs now) and always stop into last remaining bar from our days at UB. Dinner and then stay for drinks. Party of 12 and we all enjoyed food as always. Nice for Tucker to come over and say hello. Our severs Michael and Grace took care of us. Grilled Caesar was soo good, fish fry, burgers, calamari, vegan fritters (amazing) and classic pizza hit spot. Then as we hung for night & bartenders were awesome....even though everyone closes out per drink (exhausting for them) they took care of us with a tab. ;-) see you next year!
The security here are all on a power trip. They told me $5 for cover and when he saw my wallet was full he raised it and reached into my wallet to steal my money. I didn’t let him and they both started pressing me and threatening to ban me, which I don’t even care about. We explained this to the supervisor and he agreed but let it happen.
This place is already falling off because of its bad music, bad drinks and tight space among college students, and these guards who enjoy abusing the little power they got at the front, make sure nobody goes here again.
Save yourself the 10 bucks (or however much that guy decides to steal out of your wallet) and don’t waste your night here.
